Moar complex background +$7
*Everything comes with either a simple background or no background unless you pay for a complicated background. You may suggest a certain background but if it's supah complex I probably won't do it.
Things I will draw:
-your precious OC bby
-fan art
-blood/guts
-BL
Things I won't draw:
-real people (unless it's stylized fan art)
-what I'm not good at (may include animals/anthros, just ask me about it)
-I reserve the right to refuse anything I don't want to draw
Important notes that you should probably read:
Please be specific about what you want! The more information about your character, the better (including personality + backstory + world), unless you want to take chances. And definitely mention colors, any particular poses, etc. if you have something in mind!
Going along with the last point, I don't have one set style I like to draw in so unless you tell me a specific style it's gonna be a crapshoot. I have different drawing styles as well as coloring styles so please describe both. For drawing: anywhere from cutesy anime to cute (but not really anime, dunno how to describe it exactly) to more mature-looking. For coloring (mostly applies to digital): flat and cell-shaded or more painterly and possible semi-realistic. Check my gallery to see what I can do.
I'm a lazy procrastinator and sometimes I just don't feel like doing things. Don't be alarmed if I take a disgustingly long time or work on other projects in between.
Also, I will probably post your finished commission on dA and/or other sites.
Payment:
I will only take payment through Paypal. Please pay after I finish your commission b/c it motivates me to finish it.
Prices are negotiable!
*I will gladly send the original piece to you, provided you pay the additional shipping.
Note me if you're interested!

A Daily Deviation for my Kaeya!
I woke up (well actually, went to bed) with the news that my Yours Truly, Kaeya zine cover artwork had received a Daily Deviation! This is my 3rd DD, thank you very much to @AlexanderPaupoff for the feature  This is how the zines turned out btw, I'm very happy with the printing! In other news, I got into Anime NYC again so stop by if you're going~ As usual, I'm most active on Twitter these days, so consider following me there if you want to keep up w/ all my projects. Recently I made a Bluesky and Misskey as well, mostly for backup though.
How to avoid supporting AI art: Telltale Signs
First off, you can mute AI art by going into Account Settings > Browsing > Mute AI Art. Unfortunately a lot of stuff still slips through b/c many AI grifters deliberately avoid tagging their uploads properly (incredibly sleazy of them) and that's what this guide is for b/c I'm sick of seeing them getting support and even money for their effortless content. Check the Artwork I'm sure everyone is aware already of the awkward-looking hands but I'll mention it anyway. As tech advances AI will produce better and better looking hands but for now, the fused fingers, extra fingers, impossible joints/bumps, funky nails, etc. are an easy giveaway. Look out for weirdly fused, nonsensical details. AI art looks great at a distance due to the beautiful lighting/colors + pretty faces but upon close inspection, you may see hair fused into clothes, jewelry fused into skin, parts of a design that just don't make sense or stop abruptly, etc. The above point applies to backgrounds as well. AI art tends to
AI art has become the new 'renders' of dA
Remember when I wrote about "renders" aka when ppl took other artists' work (usually anime-styled) without permission and just erased the backgrounds and put on their own watermarks, fooling unaware viewers into thinking they drew it themselves? Well, logging in to dA the other day I've realized that AI art functions the same way. It's kinda depressing to see brand new deviants gain hundreds of follows just from posting clean-looking AI art. And the comments are all, "Amazing colors/design!" as if they actually drew it... Since dA has no posting limits, AI art is quickly drowning out everything else, b/c AI "artists" can crank out content so quickly. Even when AI work is tagged appropriately, not everyone reads the tags. I think this is going to become a bigger and bigger problem. Anyway, if you haven't yet I highly recommend watching this video, it does a great job of explaining why you shouldn't support the current state of AI: https://youtu.be/tjSxFAGP9Ss /Unrelated but sorry
My second Daily Deviation, and other news!
This morning, I discovered that my silly Chongyun comic had received a DD! Out of everything I've drawn these past few years, I really didn't expect this to be the one XD but thanks so much @Astralseed for the feature (and the badge) In other news, I'll be tabling at Anime NYC again this year (and this time I went for a premium booth) so stop by if you're going! Since I'm going all out, one of my plans is to draw a big Kusuriuri print, and I mean super big... Also, two of my pieces (Persephone and One-sided Feelings) are currently on display as part of Gallery IYN's "Flower Decorations 2022" exhibition until 10/10! More info and pics in this post — check it out if you happen to be in Osaka~ As usual, I'm most active on Twitter these days, so consider following me there if you want to keep up w/ all my projects. I still post to dA of course, but there's quite a bit of stuff that never makes it here.
